Thanksgiving

Thanksiving is always a good excuse to get together with family. This year, we were celebrating at my parents' house. My bro and his lovely little family came down from AR to spend a few days. We loaded up the car and brought the dog along to spend a couple of nights.

Despite some crazy tummy virus going around, we all had a good time.

I'm having a hard time seeing Dani as a toddler now. She's still a baby in my eyes. But, at my parents' house, she kept insisting on sitting at the big kids' table. Here she is, chatting away with Anna listening intently (well, that's how I picture it... of course, she's just babbling). There's my sweet baby girl, already caught in the throes of wanting to be older.

On Friday, we went to Chuck E Cheese to meet up with some old friends from high school back in Ecuador. Tash and Hillary's parents live close to mine, so it worked out well! Andrew also went to school with us, and he and Tash ended up getting married. It was a nice little reunion and a walk down memory lane.
I was glad we didn't go shopping on Black Friday. AGH!

Cool. I sometimes wish I had Quito friends living nearby. I guess Andre Zwart is not too far away from where I live, but so far I have lacked the initiative to meet up. So I guess I have no one to blame but myself. :)

Have a blessed Advent and Christmas season!
